Description

Repairs to the church tower roof as recommended by our architect. Most repairs involve like for like construction, the only item that will be altered for health and safety reasons is the current flat roofed dormer exit to the tower roof this will be changed to a pitched roof to increase headroom of the exit, it will be covered in welsh slate to match the existing tower roof. The dormer is not visible from the ground. The Parochial Church Council would like confirmation that planning permission is not required since it does not materially affect the external appearance of the place of worship (Historic England Guidance).
