Description

Retention of unauthorised works: Original dining room arched fireplace opened up. New sanitary ware in bathroom; removal of plasterboard cladding to chimney. 1960s flush ply sliding doors between dining and living room removed; new stud partition and oak door. 1940s removable plywood balustrade dismantled; new softwood removable balustrade with handrail, splats, bottom rail and newel posts. New opening between kitchen and scullery with oak posts to trim 1960s blockwork wall. New oak plank wall between kitchen and hall; reuse existing elm planked door. Remove splayed 1960s w.c. wall; build new brick wall, lime-plastered with boarded upper section; build larder off kitchen with planked wall. Remove living room 1960s floor boarding; expose C18 clay pamment floor tiles. Remove 1940s living room tiled fireplace; build in new oak lintol and open up original down hearth fireplace.
