Description

One tall willow tree (marked A on the attached plan) to be cut down and removed. The willow is at the bottom (south) end of the garden, adjacent to privately owned parkland.Felicity Webber has attended the site in October 2024 and indicated that she would not be recommending a preservation order.She previously attended 2 years ago when a large limb broke off causing significant lawn and shrub damage. The tree was pollarded at that point but has now grown to a significant size again. It blocks light from the north facing bed in which it sits. It is intended to plant 3 much smaller species, possible silver birch, which will be more in keeping with this garden.
