Description

Proposed new 11 metre high x 2.8 metre diameter water storage deluge tank for fire protection measures in accordance with LPG codes of practice and to follow guidance and recommendations from HSE. The Deluge tank is essential for fire safety. The deluge tank is sited alongside the existing combustible gas storage area, when tankers park alongside the gas tanks and fill them this is one of the higher risk elements of work. The deluge tank is a tank storing water and will dowse the area in water cooling the tanks preventing any potential explosion.
