Description

Along boundary to Alexandra Avenue: T001-Prunus Avium: Crown reduction by 20% & dead wood removal. T002-Acer palmatum: minor dead wood removal. T003-Robinia pseudoacacia: dead wood removal. T004-T013 Quercus Ilex, trees were pruned as topiary, and we are looking at changing the shape slightly so that in time we can achieve a style similar to a pleached tree hedge. Trees to be reduced in width along footpath and garden path and left to grow wider over Yew hedge to for rectangle shapes instead of circular. Height to be maintained, long new shoot to be pruned back. T014-Magnolia grandiflora, removal of leaning tree, poor form, growing too close to the house and interfering with Oak tree line and hiding quality feature of building. Replace with Prunus padus, 12-14cm girth (see drawing L002- Tree Proposal) T015-Acer campestris pleached: Reduce height by 1m and width by 50cm each side to form a shorter and narrower pleached tree hedge.
