Description

Proposal involves the construction of a single-storey rear extension projecting 3.5 metres from the original rear façade. The extension will have an eaves height of 2.7 metres and a ridge height of 3.2 metres. Architectural finishes are designed to complement the existing building. The extension will be constructed using yellow and dark engineered brickwork, to match the material expression of the original structure. Mid-tone brown aluminium windows are proposed to match the existing fenestration, alongside a set of bi-fold doors in the same finish to the rear elevation. The roof will feature a black standing seam zinc covering, selected to reflect the architectural character of the existing house.
