Description

Observation requested by London Borough of Newham request for a Scoping Opinion in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment)(England) Regulations 2017 (as amended) in relation to the Site known as Canning Town Estate Regeneration Masterplan for the retention / refurbishment and / or demolition of the existing buildings on site and the phased construction of residential-led mixed-use development. The Proposed Development will comprise up to 1,350 new residential dwellings (Use Class C3), up to approximately 2,000m2 of non-residential floorspace (Use Class E (a/b/c/d/g) / F1 / F2) with associated servicing, public open space and landscaping.
