Description

Observation by London Borough of Newham Bow Creek Moorings is seeking to regenerate approximately 103 m2 of brownfield urban land and 397 m2 of underutilized waterway along the upper area of the river Lea at Bow Creek by developing an installation of mooring berths for boaters to berth up to 15 small Thames or Dutch Barges and Narrowboats. Bow Creek Moorings is a fully mutual cooperative where people with moorings would also control and govern the organisation on a voluntary basis in line with their needs, and in their own interests. This is intended to provideaffordable moorings into the future.
