Observation requested by Royal borough of Greenwich Redevelopment of the site to deliver a mixed-use development comprising residential units (Use Class C3) with ground floor commercial space (UseClass E), a nursery (Use Class E), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (Use Class Sui Generis), a new self-storage facility (Use Class B8), ligh Industrial workspace / incubator units (Use Class E(g)(iii)) and other associated infrastructure. (This application is an EIA development and is accompanied by an Environmental Statement and Addendum/Note) (RE-CONSULTATION). Further information not forming part of the formal description of development provided for consultation purposes:- The proposed scheme includes 3 residential blocks with a maximum height of 26 storeys (90.77metres AOD) providing 352 residential units within the northern section (north-east) of the site with ground/first floor commercial and a Nursery space (combined 792 sq m of floor space).- Within the southern (south-west) section of the site, a Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) block with a maximum height of 18 storeys (63.88metres AOD) providing 340 student accommodation units.- The southern section also includes up to 37.85 metres AOD block for the use as a self-storage facility providing 2,931sq m of floor space and 469 sqm of Fab Labs floor space.- Alterations also include the introduction/improvements of pedestrian Footpaths, cycle lane and highway works as well as soft and hard landscaping with public realm works.
