Designed and engineered to step up past the underside of the beams, which sit 30cm below the ceiling height, negating the need to duck under them when ascending or descending the stairs as per Building Regulations.4. Creation of good size storage area underneath of the stair system. 5. Mezzanine spaces will be enclosed with glazed, steel Crittal style screen panels, a nod to the incumbent 'Victorian' Crittal window still in place. 6 Moving the Electrial and Water services upstairs to a new location under the existing double ceiling beams at the other side of Mezzainine Floor A, forming a new cupboard to enclose them. 7. Kitchen to be brought out into the downstairs living space, making the existing small kitchen into a utility room. 8. The proosed new design will create a fantastic open plan apartment, with natural light flooding through it, whilst creating a more accessible kitchen and precious usable space above and below the new mezzanine.
