Application for non- material amendment to planning permission ref: PA/20/01402/A2Non Material Amendment(s) Sought:The proposed amendments only relate to Building 1 on the site:i. Introduction of a second staircase from Ground Level to Level 26.ii. Shifting the lifts east.iii. Introduction of an additional smoke shaft for the second stair in the residential core from Level 02 to roof level.iv. Changes to the unit mix and layout. On the typical floors, the 2B3P apartments would change to 1B2P, and at the top of the building, one of the duplex apartments would change from a 4B6P apartment to a 3B5P apartment. See table in Appendix 1 for full breakdown.v. Minor changes to the layouts of the apartments located east and west of the core. vi. Introduction of an additional door on the façade at ground floor to allow access to the stair, as well as an adjustment of adjacent cladding modules.The change in the unit mix reduces the estimated number of residential occupants within the building, which in turn reduces the requirements for ancillary and support facilities, as set out below:i. Reduction in the number of bins, but the refuse strategy will remain the same.ii. Adjustments to the core on L01 would require a reduction in the number of cycle spaces due to minor layout changes.iii. Reduction in area available for play space in line with the requirements.
