T2: Sycamore: Fell to ground level.A Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) located just outside my boundary on theneighbour's land is proposed for removal with the neighbour's agreement.Although the tree is not on my property, it is causing significant and ongoing issuesthat directly affect my home, including:Substantial loss of natural lightHeavy seasonal leaf fall leading to repeated maintenance and blocked guttersGeneral nuisance and encroachment due to its size and positionThe neighbour has acknowledged these impacts and agrees that the tree isunsuitable for its current location. Its removal is therefore a practical managementdecision to resolve persistent issues affecting my property, rather than a proposalmade for reasons of altering the wider landscape or greenbelt character.Replacement planting can be provided where required, using appropriate speciesthat will maintain local amenity without causing future conflicts.
