Individual wounds will not exceed 40mm in diameter.Justification for Proposed WorksThe proposed pruning works are intended to maintain the trees in a safe and healthy condition. The Holm Oaks are beginning to exert dominance over the terrace area, resulting in reduced light levels to the garden spaces. Due to the characteristics of Hom Oak, producing vigorous growth, proactive cyclical maintenance will help retain the trees as valuable amenity features whilst preventing the need for more severe intervention in the future.The works are considered proportionate and in line with good arboricultural practice, seeking only to reduce excessive extension growth and restore suitable proportions to the crown. The trees will retain their natural form and main structural framework, with crown density and vitality maintained.All pruning operations will follow the principles set out in BS3998:2010 Tree Work ?
