Description

Proposed Works: Crown lift T1 Lime Tree (Tilia spp.) to 5.2 metres above ground level.Justification: The proposed crown lift is necessary to provide safe and unobstructed clearance for vehicles and pedestrians in accordance with industry and highway standards. The lower branches currently restrict access and visibility, creating potential safety concerns. Raising the crown to 5.2 m will also increase the amount of winter sunlight reaching the garden, enhancing light levels and overall amenity. The work will be carried out sensitively, removing primary and secondary growth as required, to maintain the tree's health, structural integrity, and aesthetic form. This management approach represents good arboricultural practice and will reduce the need for more significant interventions in the future.
