Description
Oak (T1) - In accordance with BS3998:2010, it is proposed to remove internal branches that are exerting mechanical pressure on the BT telecommunications cables, ensuring pruning cuts are made at appropriate junctions to preserve structural integrity and maintain a maximum clearance of one metre from the cables, while also undertaking the removal of dead, dying, or fractured branches exceeding 25mm diameter throughout the crown to mitigate risk and improve tree health, with all works to be carried out by a qualified arborist using clean, sharp tools to promote optimal healing and ecological sensitivity. Seating area located within the crown's dripline.Ash (G1) - Removal due to its declining condition and poor contribution to the garden?s visual amenity, which has otherwise been developed to a high standard. The tree is exhibiting clear signs of Ash dieback (Hymenoscyphus fraxineus), and extensive decay is present within the lower stem, compromising its structural integrity and long-term viability. It is recommended that the tree be felled and replaced with a smaller, more suitable ornamental species, such as Sorbus, to enhance the landscape character and ensure sustainable planting within the garden setting.
