Description

T1 - Monterey Cypress. Remove major hazardous deadwood T2 - Holm Oak. Reduce height by 4m, maximum diameter of cut (MDC) 75mm. Reduce southern aspect by 3-4m, MDC 1 @ 125mm, remaining at 75mm. Reduce eastern aspect by 3m, MDC 75mm Reason for Works: T1 is clearly in decline and the deadwood needs removing on safety grounds T2 is heavily weighted to the south and is having a significant impact on the property below. Given the tree?s characteristics and the ground conditions, a weight reduction is recommended to reduce leverage, and therefore loadings, on both the tree and at ground level. As Holm Oaks generally tolerate such works well, the specified reduction is expected to have minimal impact on the tree?s physiological process and health overall.
