Application Details
Description
T1 - Oak tree with previous 5 year recurring permission from previous application AT/2015/0297/TPO. No change to this spec. Tree to be reduced to previous points (approximately 1-1.5m of growth removed)T2 - Sycamore growing alongside T1, creating one crown. Tree to be reduced by up to 2m in height, and 1m over garden to balance crown with the oak once pruned, creating one continuous crown. The tree has one limb growing over moorland close to the rear which has a developing pocket of decay that has significantly worsened since the initial application in 2015. I believe this will become weak within the next 5 year cycle and could cause accsss issues for moorland close should it fail, blocking the only access to houses. This limb is to be removed to main stem.T3 - Sycamore with recurring 5 year permission for a 2m/10% reduction. The tree has been previously pollarded in 2 places, in addition to the current reduction points. Requested spec is to re pollard to secondary pollard points (approximately 4m reduction in height) and create a new framework by reducing the sides by 1-1.5m to new pollard points. We request that the current 5 year recurring permission be passed onto the new framework to maintain the tree?s size with a re pollard every 5 years. This is to ease pressure on the wall at the base of the bank on which the tree is growing, which is beginning to crack in line with this tree.
