Description

Oak (G1) is situated on the bank, just outside the TPO Area. The trees are proposed to undergo a repollarding treatment, with all regrowth removed back to established pollard points using sharp, clean cuts to prevent unnecessary wounding. This work builds upon previous management practices conducted at the same bank, aiming to maintain structural integrity, reduce mechanical stress, and promote healthy regrowth. The tree?s condition will be monitored following the works to assess vigour and response.Given the proximity to pedestrian access and public use areas, this cyclical management is deemed necessary to mitigate potential branch failures and maintain safe clearance. No felling is proposed, and no replanting is required.
