Front Garden Area (side of garages) & Overhanging CourtlandsG1 - Bay Tree (& Ivy) Stems overhanging Car parking Area of Courtlands - Cut back hard to the boundary line & upright.All pruning cuts to be made at suitable growth pointsPruning wounds shall not exceed 40 mm in diameter.Remove all cut material from site & return to a Devon Tree Services depot for recycling, leaving the area safe, clean & tidy.JustificationThe works are required to maintain the trees in a manageable form and to prevent encroachment into the neighbouring car parking area at Courtlands. Overhanging growth is creating an obstruction and poses a risk of nuisance to parked vehicles and residents. The proposed reduction will alleviate this issue while retaining the health and amenity value of the trees. All works will be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 ? Tree Work Recommendations, ensuring that the long-term health and structure of the trees are not compromised.
