Description
Three large horse chestnut trees which have massively overgrown and effectively taken up the complete width of the garden, blocking out light and a potential hazard due to its large size and potential droppages. The three trees darken the light to both the kitchen and lounge and overhang a large part of the garage. Each tree has a crown diameter of approximately 32 feet covering the complete width of the garden and overlapping the next property at number 78.All trees are approximately 60 feet tall and they have not been touched for at least 10 years, if at all. All trees need crown reduction of 5 feet leaving 12 feet after pruning but some of the branches are 25 feet long and these will need a crown reduction of 8 feet leaving 17 feet after pruning. Photographs have been shaded showing the reduction. They also need crown thinning to 30%.Included third tree which belongs to 78 but overhangs the garage and garden of 80.This house was occupied by my mother who has sadly passed on. The house has been up for sale for over 12 months and has not attracted any buyers, the main reason being these large trees being too large and dominating the garden. There is also a large outstanding bill owed to Torbay Council from my mothers stay in a care home but this cannot be paid until the house is sold.
