I am writing to formally notify Torbay Council under the 5-day exemption rule of essential works required on a TPO-protected Monterey Cypress located at Invercombe, Ilsham Marine Drive, Torquay, TQ1 2PN.What3Words: ///grant.camp.blowsReason for Urgent Works:Following the last storm conditions, the tree has sustained damage, including snapped and hanging branches throughout the crown. These pose an immediate safety risk to the neighbouring property, and surroundings. As per our assessment, urgent remedial action is necessary to mitigate these hazards.Proposed Works:Remove all storm-damaged, snapped, and hanging branches throughout the crown to eliminate immediate danger. Safely remove all cut material from the site and transport it to Devon Tree Services depot for recycling. Ensure the site is left safe, clean, and tidy upon completion of works.These works are proposed solely to address safety concerns and will be carried out in accordance with best arboricultural practices
