Description

T1 Beech - Removal - A removal has been recommended due to poorly formed unions and water retention causing rot and decay, one area on main stem has a substantial pocket of decay. Northern limb is excessively weighted over the road and is held by a very poor union. This tree poses a huge threat to human life due to the heavily populated road adjacent to the tree. T1 has been monitored for a number of years and each year leaf matter has become less and less throughout the tree thus showing high sign this tree is in decline. T2 Beech - 2m reduction and 20% thin, tree is growing predominately towards the road as per T1, but has strong unions. A reduction of upto 2m and a thin of approximately 20% is recommended to lessen sail effect. This is to be achieved by no cuts greater than 50mm, all works to be carried out to BS3998.
