THE TREE IS Pinus pineaIdentified as 01 on the sketchFelling and removal of tree.There is no TPO but it might be in a conservation area Reason Following a property structural report;Extract from report Below.There is one very significant tall tree located on the front / West facing boundary opposite the South West corner of the building and which flanks the public footpath providing access from Warren Road down to lower levels via concrete steps to various public and private terracing and possibly access to other properties and features of the sloping terrain below. The tree has been allowed to grow without maintenance or pruning over a long period of time and its roots and general wind affected movement have caused damage to minor on site structures and to the freestanding stone wall flanking the west facing boundary. Evidence of such damage is included in Appendices 8 - Freestanding Walls and repeated below in Plates 9 & 10. The tree should be removed providing it does not have a TPO protection and repairs to the freestanding wall bases and other minor terrace walls and pavings will be required to ensure ongoing stability of the wall structures. Walls flanking public footpaths are likely to be owned by the property boundary and although no serious cracks are currently evident in the structures that could be observed, regular/routine checks on condition of such walls are recommended especially in regard to wind driven forces that are becoming a feature of recent weather affected climate changes. As the property is refurbished with the surrounding gardens additional local varieties of plants and trees maybe introduced to suit the area.
