Description
Tree T1 - The black locust needs a crown lift (minimal). This is to ensure that it meets the highway regulations and also keeps it from blocking the street light.Tree T2 - This Holm Oak has quite a large lean towards the road and is overhanging where cars park. My recommendation for this one is to either remove completely or to cut down to around 10ft. This will eliminate the heavy lean and will lift it from the road side adhering to the highway regulations.Tree T3 - This Holm Oak would benefit from a crown lift and slight reduction. This tree will also benefit from dead wood being removed and thinning out to allow more light and space for other branches. The branches leaning towards the flats and over the pathway need a reduction as they are getting close to the building and it would better balance the tree. Finally, we would sever the ivy and remove as much off as possible.Tree T4 - The sycamore is getting quite overpowered by both of the oaks and is lacking enough light. Resulting in it growing thin, but tall as it is reaching for the light. This could affect the safety of the tree. I would recommend either a pollard, or removal. A crown lift and dead removal at the very least.Tree T5 - The final Holm Oak. This tree is quite unbalanced and overhanging the care home substantially. This will need a crown lift and thin out. Also remove the dead wood and ivy. This tree would also benefit from a crown reduction and matching the height to the other oak that is present.
