Side Communal Garden Area of Regents Court;x1 Hornbeam - Reduce in height onlyReduce the height of the tree by approximately 1.0 metre leaving a final tree height of approximately 4.0 metres. No works to the radial canopy spread is required maintaining a final radial crown spread of approximately 4.0 metres at all compass points while retaining the main framework & shape of the crown & therefore a high proportion of the foliage bearing structure. All pruning cuts to be made at suitable growth points. Pruning wounds shall not exceed 30mm in diameter.Crown lift secondary & sub lateral branch growth on the southern aspect of the tree only, to provide a clearance of approximately 2.0 metres between ground level and foliage tips, to achieve the desired vertical clearance above the access steps leading to the garden area. JustificationThe reduction in tree height by 1.0 metre ensures the Hornbeam remains manageable and structurally stable.
