Description

2x multi-stemmed (coppice origin?) ash at south-eastern margin of grounds of Arthington, adjacent to Parkhurst Rd. Both ash showing AD symptoms. Hazard is clearly associated with changed wood properties of affected ash and increased likelihood of stem failures, risk is increased to an unacceptable level due to tree positioning in relation to roadside corridor.Proposed works - section-fell to ground level by professional arborists working to BS 3998:2010.Replacement proposal - accept coppice regrowth from cut stumps, single to best stems in future to develop most appropriate tree form for location.
