Description
Ash (T1) - fell because the tree's canopy does not contribute visual amenities to the character and setting of the Conservation Area, replant with Sorbus spp. Tree suffering from Ash dieback, also known as Chalara, is a very contagious fungal disease and leaf skeletons are revealing the hollow veins that provide food and water to its living cells. The outer green layer is removed to unveil the vein network within, resulting in a ghostly yet striking appearance.
