Rear Garden Area;x1 Mature Apple Tree - Reduce overall canopy of the tree byReducing the height of the tree by 1.50 metres m leaving a final tree height of 3.0 metres. Reduce radial canopy spreads by 1.0 metres leaving a final radial crown spread of 3.0 metres at all compass points. Pruning wounds shall not exceed 30 mm in diameter.The works are part of an annual cyclical pruning regime, pruning annual growth only back to previous pruning points.The tree has a very low amenity value & cannot be seen by the surrounding area due to its small size.The works will increase light levels into the property & garden area & reduce excessive shading.The proposed works form part of an ongoing management programme to ensure the future health of the tree is maintained.
