Tree (turkey Oak) labelled T001 on Tree Consultants report.TPO number 1973.12As stated in section 5 of the report.T01 shows a large defect that is conducive to failure. The wounding area of the south western aspect of the stem has caused significant and extensive decay, and the structural integrity of the tree is now wholly reliant o the new reactive tissue, which is only on the northern ,eastern and western aspects of the tree, failing structurally, and under dynamic loading the tree has significant movement at base level.It has been recommended that the tree (t001) be sectionally dismantled. felling to the ground. There have been a number of turkey oaks that have grown from seeds that have naturally fallen and these have been staked and left to grow. As these are thriving they have been noted on the site plan TA 010 location size. It is the intention to allow these to continue to thrive protected within the garden.
