T2 Scots Pine - FellThis tree is dead with suspected Pine Beetle infestation (Topps Tree Care). They recently removed a mature pine at Rendell House (Neighbouring property across Windsor Road from my property ).T11 Lime - Crown lift to 6 meters, reduce crown and reduce branches by 3 to 4 meters on the easterly (Windsor Road), southerly (driveway) and westerly aspects to alleviate weight on overly extended branches.This is a very large mature tree. There is a smaller lime on the northerly aspect (garden boundary with neighbouring property, Little Spinney). The two lime trees form a single canopy . This has produced unbalanced growth on the larger tree ,T11, with heavier and overextended branches on the other 3 aspects of the tree. These branches extend over Windsor Road, the property driveway and the garden and would be a significant safety hazard if they fall. Recently a large branch (250 to 300mm diameter) fell on the westerly (garden) side. Fortunately in this case there was only damage to the lawn. However if a similar branch dropped onto Windsor Road or the driveway it would be a significant threat to cars and their passengers and pedestrians. Windsor Road is relatively busy with both vehicle and foot traffic. It therefore seems sensible to manage this tree to reduce the risk.In 2010 (AT/2010/0207/TB) permission was granted to crown lift to 6m and reduce some of the overhanging branches to reduce the weight. This work was not carried out. In the 13 years since this application the tree has put on significantly more growth. In view of the large branch that has recently dropped the tree in its current state is a potential safety risk.this area of the garden is very crowded with 9 mature trees. I request permission not to replace this tree.
