Description

The proposed work relates to the pine tree at 22A Thatcher Avenue identified as tree T003 under TPO reference 2010.036. The location of the tree appears on the Torbay TPO Map, an extract of which is provided in image T003-1 attached.The reasons for the proposed work are that the lower branches of the tree T003 now obstruct the use of the driveway at the property (see images T003-2/3/4) and encroach upon an adjacent whitebeam tree (see images T003-5/6/7). There are also two branches that are dead which could be conveniently removed at the same time.We propose a ?crown lift? of tree T003 involving the removal of the branches numbered 1 - 6 identified variously on the attached photographs (images T003-2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9).Branches 1 ? 3 obstruct the driveway. Branch 4 encroaches on the adjacent whitebeam tree. Branches 5 and 6 are dead.The work is proposed to be carried out by a qualified tree surgeon.
