Description

Ash tree numbered 2000.031: dismantle - work will be done within the property boundary. Location of the tree is within 5m of the building and hangs over rear driveway and garden area. Reasons: excessive canker, including at structural unions where there are also deep cracks. General condition of the tree is poor with suspected die back. Approx 20% of the canopy is made up of dead branches, this is within the past 2 years as all at risk branches were removed in 2021 by EARTH WOOD TREES LTD for safety purposes at the time. Branches of approx 2" and 3" diameters have failed, 1 landing on the rear entrance to the property and the other landing on the highway Cockington Lane. I would like this application to be prioritised due to safety requirements, the branches are very brittle and the tree clearly has no future.
