Description
T1- Turkey oak (Quercus cerris) removal due to structural defects increasing the risk of harm through whole tree failure. stress crack at the lowest union this is considered to be due to the imbalance of weight between the two main stems and continuation of this crack would lead to catastrophic failure where the two primary stems would split apart. the tree has also been heavily pruned on one side and not on the other side which has caused the imbalance in weight. the tree also has poor positioning and is very close to the edge of the retaining wall therefore giving the tree minimal amount of room for thickening of the stem and therefore would limit the trees growth and lifespan. I would also propose to plant one Scots pine within the garden in a better position to replace this tree
