Oak (T1) - Prune the first-order branch back to the stem (good ratio 3:1) on the westerly aspect of the tree and prune two last-order branches by 3 metres within the lower part of the easterly aspect of the crown to achieve clearance from the BT line.Sycamore (T2) - Repollard and cyclical management because significant decline within the whole crown and asymmetrical tree shape poses a high risk of the tree falling and is not tolerated by the homeowner.Monterey cypress (T3) - Fell because root plate damaging swimming pool's pavement and wall to the south-west, the tree is not visible to the wider public. Replant with Cypress Oak fastigiate in a different part of the garden.Spruce (T4) - Slenderness occurs in a confined environment in very close proximity to the swimming pool's pavement and wall, the tree is not visible to the wider public. Replant with Rowan in a different part of the garden.Cherry (G1) - Fell because of poor tree condition due to low standards and a degree of pruning in the past that is not currently recommended in British Standards 3998 2010. Also, the group is located in a confined environment in very close proximity to the swimming pool's pavement and wall, not visible to the wider public. Replant with the same species in a different part of the garden.The applicant intends to restore the hedgerows within the boundaries of the Lincombe Court by removing, coppicing, and reducing the height of certain smaller plants, such as Holm Oak, Laurus, and Holly, with the aim of enhancing the aesthetics of the garden and promoting local ecology.
