Description
Oak Tree - 61 Mariners Way, Preston - TP1974.10Reason: The Oak Tree has grown and now overhanging the property at 61 Mariners Way and in close proximity to adjacent property. The tree is the only oak tree in the boundary of 61 Mariners Way. The tree requires crown lifting and some thinning, this will improve the shape of the tree, reducing the branches overhanging the property and remove any potential 'contact' with the adjacent property. This action will reduce the fears that the tree will cause damage to the properties.I have gained professional advise from a registered tree surgeon - JB Tree Service The suggested approach (description of the proposed works) is as follows:- Reduction of lower limbs, pruning south canopy extents to achieve a clearance from the property roof of 3m laterally and vertically.- A crown lift of 3 metres to reduce clearance to the property laterally and vertically in all directions ensuring balance- Removal of deadwood from the tree that would cause damage if not removedThis will give a 3m clearance regarding the property at 61 Mariners Way (currently overhanging) and give a 3 metre clearance to the neighbouring property. This will significantly reduce a potential damage to the properties.
