Description
Tree T1 is a Holm Oak (Quercus Ilex) growing at the entrance of the adjacent property to the east, Monteverdi. It has 3 stems from base, is 22m tall, with stem diameters of approximately 40. 60. 50 cm. It overhangs the entrance drive and parking area of 'Bay Ridge', causing nuisance by dropping leaves and allowing perching birds to defecate onto the car below. It is proposed to clrown-lift and reduce back the western branches over the said drive, as shown on the attached photograph. this would be a reduction by some 6m of the side growth of the tree.T2 is another Holm Oak, growing in the garden of the adjacent property to the west, Parkhill House. it is proposed to remove 2 3rd-order limbs on its southern side, as illustrated in the attached photograph, to allow lightinto the applicant's gardenT3 is a Yew (Taxus baccata), also growing in the garden of Beacon Heights; it is proposed to reduce and rebalance the tree for the sam reason as given fro tree T2 above. the owners of both properties have been approached and are happy to have the above works carried out.please see attached plan for locations of the trees.
