Description

1 Large Oak tree . Total removal of tree and replace with shrub2 dying sycamore . total removal and replacement with shrub3 Large sycamore - total removal and replacement with shrubAll trees stand on a small area of bank 3-4 m above ground level. The trees severely overshadow the house ( Sketch C) . Leaves, falling branches and sap cause damage to vehicles parked at the property and the trees are located only 6 metres distance from the front of the property itself. The large sycamore ( tree 3) is also damaging the boundary wall. All trees are overhanging Museum Road and car park entrance. Sketch C is taken from a photo and demonstrates the height of the trees compared to the top of the property roof. Options other than total removal would still leave the property in a vulnerable position and at risk with stormy weather and bank erosion. The proposal would replace the large trees with shrubs which could be maintained at lower height, provide some privacy and also provide support to the environment
