Description

Various tree worksW1: Removal to ground level of dead Oak in falling range of new shooting range. Remove dead wood from 2x oak either side and above new shooting range.Removal to ground level of dead stem ( unidentified species) . Removal to ground level of 1x Sycamore in middle of shooting range. Sycamore is heavily leaning and has Kretzschmaria. T46: Multi stemmed Ash . Removal to ground level . Tree has extensive Ash Dieback and is at risk of failing onto access road and footpath.T43: Holm Oak. Lift crown to achieve a 3-4m clearance from ground and reduce L/H lateral growth by approx 3-4m to alleviate forces on union and minimise risk of limb failure onto structure while retaining a natural profile.G42: Oak. Remove lowest 4x limbs to allow clearance for machinery while retaining a natural profile.W5: Oak. Remove lowest 4x limbs to allow clearance for machinery while retaining a natural profile.W5: Lift crowns of group of Oak by 1-2m to allow clearance for machinery while retaining a natural profile.W6: Remove lowest limb of Oak on South side of group and lift crowns of remaining trees within group by 1-2m to allow clearance for machinery while retaining a natural profile.W6: Single Oak. Lift crown by approx 1m and remove stubs from previous cuts .T30: Cedar of Lebanon. Remove 3x lowest limbs and lift remaining crown by approx 1-2m to allow area under lowest limbs to be maintained while achieving a clearer view across course. This will also allow clearance for machinery while retaining a natural profile. The three lowest limbs are not supporting the limbs above them so this procedure will not adversely the stability of the remaining crown.
