Description

I have a silver birch tree in my front garden that has unfortunately become too large for the space it is in. If it fell down it is likely to hit my house or my neighbour's house and now that it is windier, it is shedding lots of branches. I estimate the tree is about 15m tall. I have spoken to a tree surgeon and he recommended reducing the height by 3m and trimming the sides to reduce its size to a more reasonable level - 1m each side - and reduce the risk of catching the wind / toppling. Therefore this is what I would like to do.
