T1 - Mature Oak Tree - Open Access Grass Verge:Fell as close as possible to ground level and grind out remaining stump (to a depth of 300mm)As you can see from photos it appears to have had a last flush of growth before dying. The surrounding yew hedge and tree have also died. The oak might have died separately from possibly acute oak decline as it's showing some bleeding and bore holes in the stem and a nearby oak also has similar conditions.
