Neighbouring Authority Consultation: Buckinghamshire Council - reference PL/24/3905/HS2Request for the approval of non-material changes to the approved Plans and Specifications relating to development authorised by the High Speed Rail (London-West Midlands) Act 2017 under paragraphs 2 and 3 of Schedule 17 relating to the creation of the Colne Valley Western Slopes earthworks, realignment of Tilehouse Lane, the erection of the Chiltern Tunnel South Portal structures and building, the erection of supporting infrastructure including noise barriers, fencing and gates and the creation of balancing ponds. The non-material changes comprise:,- Ribbed woodcrete (or similar) acoustic lining internal finish replaced with milledaluminum, perforated cassettes. Proposed cassettes are acoustically in accordance with theenvironmental minimum requirements at this location and meet all acoustic minimumrequirements. Internal lining matches that of the Colne Valley Viaduct noise barriers.External finish is unchanged (vertically ribbed textured concrete), using the same texturespecification (Reckli Mekong) as the viaduct substructure;- Post Setting-out / spacing increased from 2m-3m;- Minor adjustments to the noise barrier transition. Transition has increased from 28m to30m in alignment with the adjusted post spacing from 2m-3m. Note, transition zonelocated only within Three Rivers District Council Area;- Embankment noise barrier bottom edge lowered, with a 300mm offset to the ground toenable inspection and maintenance access to the post base plates and fixings.
