T1 - Hornbeam - Had a 5 day notice works completed due to stem structural failure at ground level, that caused a large lateral to sit on shed roof.This work reduced the pressure on the main stem - now to enable the main stem and a low canopy for screening and biodiversity to be retained safely, the following works will be carried out (as per photo)Reduce remaining lateral side limb by 1 metreReduce second highest lateral limb that goes over neighbours garden to significant growth point at 2 metres from crown breakReduce main leader to new growth points at circa 4 metresThis should mean the tree can be retained for the significant future
