Tree species: Taxus baccataThe tree is around 4m tall. It is in poor condition with ivy and vines growing through it. At some point in the distant past, it was reduced to around 2m and so it has formed a large multi-stemmed shrub that is taking up a significant area of the planting bed in which it is situated.As the rest of the planting bed is being rejuvenated, the proposed works are to have it completely removed and replaced with a more ornamental flowering tree such as Sorbus hupehensis.
