Recommendations following Tree assessment:Deodar Cedar: Selective crown and branch reduction. Crown - small reduction of selective branches as shown by red dots on Pic 1.South side - cut back low primary scaffold branch by 2.5m to strong green secondary growth to reduce weight on this extended limb as per red dots on Pic2. North/West - reduce extended branches by nor more than 1.6m to clear lamp posts as per red marks on Pic4. East - prune back extended growth over drive by nore more than 1m to strong green suitable secondary growth, all an an on-going maintenance and care programme. The tree shows signs of normal vitality with no visible or notable dysfunction. The work is being undertaken to balance the tree, and to reduce nuisance from falling branches and bird droppings over public footpaths and private driveways.
