Mature Oak - Proposed Works (Northern aspect) - Reduce lateral branches extending over neighbouring gardens by approximately 3–4m, pruning to suitable secondary growth points to alleviate shading and encroachment. (Eastern aspect) - Reduce lateral branches by approximately 2–3m, maintaining a natural crown profile and uniform density. (Southern and Western aspects) - Reduce lateral branches over the client’s garden by approximately 2–3m, cutting back to previous pruning points where appropriate to promote healthy regrowth and crown balance. Crown height) - Reduce overall height by approximately 2–3 metres, retaining a natural, rounded crown form consistent with the species. All cuts to be made to appropriate branch collars or secondary growth points, avoiding flush cuts or leaving stubs. The tree’s natural outline to be preserved, ensuring the reduction is visually sympathetic and biologically sustainable. - All arisings to be chipped and removed from site, leaving the work area clean and tidy upon completion. - Works to be carried out outside of the bird nesting season where possible (typically March–August), unless an inspection confirms no active nests are present. - All operations to be conducted in accordance with current health, safety, and wildlife legislation.
