Description

Repair, refurbishment and retrofitting for improved energy efficiency and climate change mitigation. Externally, the works include repair to chimneys, new chimneypots and rainwater goods, repair and conservation to the front elevation masonry, measures to improve damp in basements including lead trays under steps to front elevation and tanking, lime based render to replace cement based render to side and rear elevations, replacement double glazed windows to front and side elevations to match existing style, replacement of rear elevation windows including adjustments to proportion and location to better reflect original design, external insulation to side and rear elevations, All existing roofing finishes to be removed and replaced with new natural slate roof finish, installation of photovoltaic roof panels to front roof elevation. Internal reparation of damp and rotten timbers and internal insulation to front elevations (application for Listed Building Consent) - Discharge of condition 18 (protection measures to retained internal features) of Listed Building Consent 2023/1628/LBC granted 19th February 2024
