Oak Tree TOP number 974. Following advice from registered Tree Surgeons.Crown lifting and reduction to reshape upper and southern canopy areas (over No 3 Blackthorn Drive). To reduce crown approximately 3m from 6m, to remove 3 lower branches. Longer Branches are between 5-6m long with shorter ones around 3 metres long.The current crown spread is 18m, height of tree 25m. Tree surgeon has recommended reduction by 3m to 15m spread and 22m height and to remove all dead wood to prevent falling branches.Reason for doing the work are to be able to enjoy the property without constant pigeon mess on decking, windows and bi folds, falling dead wood and branches and acorns banging on neighbours roof and decking, blocked gutters. To not live in fear of the tree falling because of the asymmetric canopy, to be able to use the garden, even on a windy day. To allow more light in the garden.To add solar panels on the south facing roof.To also improve the health of the tree and ensure it does not get diseased and unstable.
