Description

The mature oak at 5 South Road, Bisley, Woking, Surrey, exhibits severe basal decay likelycaused by fungal pathogens such as Ganoderma. This decay significantly compromises thetree?s structural integrity, creating a high risk of failure. Due to its large size and proximityto a residential dwelling and potential foot traffic, the risk to safety is unacceptable. As aresult, the recommended course of action is the complete removal of the oak tree, subjectto any necessary consents from Surrey Heath Borough Council.A suitable replacement Tree should be planted as part of good Arboricultural practice andto sustain the long-term environmental visual benefits of tree cover in the local area.
