SHBC Preservation Order Reference: Sweet Chestnut (mature), TPO 7/98 Woodland W2 History: To remove the risk of potential future damage to nearby residential housing and parked cars. Pervious consent received to reduce lateral branches to ensure 4m gap between branches and property. Work not carried out. Further identification of works required.Work Required: Reduce lateral branches adjacent to property by minimum of 4m. Cut to suitable growth point on branch. Reduce complete crown by 4m to reduce crown mass on all 3 stems, as required to balance tree on all sides. Lift crown to ensure 5m above ground level. Timing: Non urgent tree works are banned on the Keaver Drive estate and surrounding Burrow Hill nature reserve woodlands during breeding season. All consented works will be carried out from Sep to March only.
