Description

Repacement of basement laundry room suspended timber floor joists and timber floorboards identified as damaged with dry rot. Repair of plaster to any walls damaged during removal and restoration of suspended timber flooring. Original floor installed pre regulations (November1985). Existing floor joists 4"x2.5" softwood untreated timber. Existing floorboards 6"x3/4" softwood untreated timber, cover with natural cork tiles with linoleum cover laid on top. New replacement floor joists 4"x3"(95 mm x70mm) C24 pressure treated softwood FSC certified. New untreated PTG softwood floorboards 130mm x22mm, screwed down to joists. This work will not be undertaken until all insurance work relating to the oil leak has been completed.
